Orcave 313-LD-48/LIN CYKY

The adapter is used in installations where a classic 3-core CYKY cable is installed between the SMART-type luminaire and the control element. We do not recommend this solution for SMART lights, because due to the complexity of the assembly, it introduces the possibility of error (rotation of the voltage polarity, bad contact of the control wire, etc.) and is only indicated for cases of overhaul of older installations.

Design

The adapter is equipped with a 12-pin connector from the manufacturer for insertion into the control element Orcave 313-112 or 313-113. The short connecting cable is terminated in a 3-pin waterproof connector, into which the cable is correctly inserted, e.g. CYKY 3x1.5mm2.

Function

We do not recommend this switch for normal use. In the overview, we present it for the case when, either for conservatively traditional reasons, the installer wants to use a 3-core CYKY cable for SMART lights, or it is a case of refurbishing old lights in lighting locations where he does not want to remake the existing CYKY cabling.
